Cpt.Power, 14 May 2025As US yes in case of EU depends which country. I am from Sl... moreThat's the unfortunate truth for most countries. Politicians are a nuisance to all citizens, begging for votes during elections and never care about citizens past being elected. And all those bribes are exempt from legality as "taxes".

I would like the cameras be flat with the back like they use to be in the past.
I dont really understand the need of these large islands with pyramids on top of them or just large black circle in the back like this on have.

Khatchadour, 13 May 2025why again this horrible round circle around the lenses... a... moreChinese people don't really use consumer mirrorless cameras due to their likelihood of getting dissapear-ed by police for photographing the wrong thing. As such, Chinese markets like to put GIANT unnecessary camera islands to make the phones look like they compete with real consumer cameras, when the reality of vastly different.

I had their M2 Note back in the day. I actually quite liked it at the time. Slow as molasses, overheated just copying and pasting, but it was great value for money.
Its main selling points were the price and the surprisingly good LCD display made by that Japanese consortium. I forget the name. Japanese Display-something I think?
It also had a cool clickable pill-shaped mechanical "home" button that was also the fingerprint reader if you just touched it, and you could also scroll up and down with it using only touch, which was pretty innovative at the time.
The software updates involved downloading a file, saving it, and then opening it using their proprietary file browser which was configured to install only the properly named zip file as an update. All other zips it treated normally.
Weird setup. Only ever got 2 updates from them I think.
Still, nice to see they are still around. Maybe they'll do a bit better this time around. Maybe even bring in some new innovations like they used to do.

With or without software update phone can last many many years.
YAou dont need OS updates to run yur apps like gaming apps chat like facebook, viber, X, whatsapp, messenger, elegram etc and many else apps to run for several years.
Your comment makes tottaly no sense.
And said camera island is beautifull.
Always better than generic traffic lights which companies like Samsung or Sony uses for many years.
