pl2rts, 16 hours agoThey should remove region restrictions from their gaming co... moreRegion locks are limited only to PSN contents and have been for a long time.
Only the PS vita requires hard reset if the user wants to change to a different PSN store region whole the rest could just log in and out.

Sony would do better to stay in Japan and build and ship from there.
USA is not the best choice.

Whaa? Noo. Just keep increasing your prices here in Europe. And every other regions except the US. I mean I thought it was already established that we don't matter and only the US market does?

pl2rts, 16 hours agoThey should remove region restrictions from their gaming co... moreCounter-Arguement: Sony or Japan in That case should have not moved to USA to sell their console these. Or imagine Nintendo would allowed them to produce the CD adapter on theirs console and compete against them at the same time and the same price.
And cheap eroge games in Japan should be region locked to keep those cowardice western snowflakes safe.

Anonymous, 15 hours agoEven $7.25 an hour is a lot more than people get paid in so... moreWhere I'm at, 7$ an hour is alot. Like well above average. A LOT of people live with 7$ a day.

Anonymous, 16 hours agoMove the factory to Texas and hire migrants to work to keep... moreEven $7.25 an hour is a lot more than people get paid in southeast Asia. Factor in the added costs of importing components (with their own tariffs!) to the US rather than importing only the finished device, plus having to redirect all the supply chains, and you quickly see why Sony won't actually move production to the US.

They should remove region restrictions from their gaming console so they can sell their console to everywhere and let people make acc aunts everywhere and not restric it to some special countries. That would solve a lot of their issues and dont need to rise the prices cause of one country tariffs.

People will just have to go without 30 dolls... err, 30 PS5 consoles in the US.
