So nothing wrong with re releasing old chips but for a cheaper price

Anonymous, 9 hours agoFastly...865, 865+, 870...they did !865 and 865 plus are the same chip, just like 9300 and 9300 plus. releasing a overclocked version within the same generation is not rebranding. Will you ever say AMD is doing rebranding on Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 7 7700?

What MTK did in the past year is like 810->6100->6080, pretending they are brand new generations, same for 7020, 7030, 7050..

GPU on A18 for 16e is weaker than the one on 9200+!

True, it's something very close to last year's 9300, but it's definitively an excellent chip.

This is basically the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, but for MediaTek.

pricing will make or break the image of this chip.

Should be Dimensity 9350 or something like that, because it's basically 9300++

Claymon, 13 hours agoso pretty much rebranded dimensity 9300+no it is worse, the cache for "big" X4 cores is nerfed from 1MB to 512KB.

This isn't really for flagships. More like sub-flagships/upper mid-rangers

G200, dimensity 6400, and now dimensity 9400e. Literally no all are just rebrands, name changes, and nothing to add

Not only both for OnePlus, and GT 7, but might also for Galaxy S25 FE and Xiaomi 15T Pro is later for interesting this chipset?

Mediatek is master of rebranding and naming scheme. In reality it is one year old soc, but with marketing tricks people will think that is the newest one. This is not something like a18 for 16e or 2400e for Samsung s24 FE. They are still better processors then previous generation, and this one is not.
