Just like Meizu with their Zero which should be a hero or Heroic phone without any oports or holes or whatsover but failed to impress and this startup project been cancelled.
Apple can be successfull because they have lot more money and influence on people than Meizu company.
But lets see.

So someone decided to create an animation from the past renders from some iPhone fan fake leaks when Samsung made the round edge screen add a few more twists and call it news. Right. Wish was true but Apple will never do it, too bold step, not Apple for sure. Thank you China was a great idea.

There is a possibility Samsung could be supplying Apple with these batteries. TDK, Apple's battery supplier, is expected to roll out silicon carbon batteries by the summer, but Samsung is already manufacturing proprietary Silicon carbon nanocomposite batteries for micro vehicles. I'm sure they are testing it on phones and they can combine this technology with their stacked method.
BTW, Apple had a patent for an all glass body years ago. The Xiaomi concept was a copy. If they wanted credit, they should have brought it to production.

They always say this fancy stuff is happening and then of course it never does and the iPhone looks the same again as it always has! Apple are famous for moving forward slowly and all their devices looks the same as they did a decade ago.

Again a textbook example of making a design just for the sake of making a design. An all glass phone...aimed at people who never drops a phone...meaning a market that doesn't exist. And if it would come to life, then most people would hurry to buy a case making it even more useless. It's staggering how designers think...(I mean in a bad way). Next will be the old idea of having a transparent phone (where you would need special glaces to read the display in certain circumstances?), a thing that already was proven useless with the transparent TV set that came out a while ago. Why not do that.

The panel itself is foldable, and Apple folded it on the sides so the top and bottom bezels were symmetrical. It was unique back then as you can see many Android phones still had uneven top bezels and chin back then.
