    Or they could simply stick to a handful of global launches in place of regional rebrands, as what HMD does. There's a clear distinction in their handful of models, despite having similarities in specifications in certain models. That it turn, would reduce confusion amongst buyers, and also makes it easier for them to provide updates, unlike their sketchy updates policy that misses out on crucial security updates as well for most devices.

Especially when you take the lack of a Vivo S20 Pro variant for the global market, when the launch of the next iteration is nearby within mere months.

        I like the idea of a larger packaging, but the X series offers that, but without additional accessories.

            So Vivo clowns are at it again.
            Snapdragon 685 = Flagship performance
            Bundling a phone with TWS = Elite Edition.

            They're really pushing the limit of hyperbole in the English language.

                  oh and btw this SORT of makes sense but yeah, it also feels weird. Like, editions are just that, special versions of the same thing, and this makes sense in that case but Samsung released Fan Edition stuff and rewired my brain lmao

                    So it's not really an Elite Edition, but more like an Elite Package deal. I thought this was gonna be the V50 Pro we never got but under a different name, but it's actually nothing new.
