15 May 2025
A noteworthy wearable, bridging the gap between active and design-oriented devices.

This is a fitness band rather than a watch. Had to pick this over Watch 5 due to my pale wrist size, watch 5 looked too big on my wrist so bought this. Overall this is good but functionality wise this does the same things as Mi Band, just that it has a bigger display and ECG support.
Cant comment on battery life, just bought this 2 days back and drained 48% battery in 2 days cause I am fiddling with the watch all the time so battery life should be around 5 days for normal use.

Guys, Huawei is start using Harmony OS NEXT on Watch Fit 4 series,Watch 5 series globally, I saw, I tested, and it's true, even base model of watch fit 4 comes with Harmony OS 5.1 and power on loading animation shows below the Harmony OS LOGO, It's powered by open harmony.

I had to return mine 30 mins after receiving, the screen does look big but once the screens on the big bezels eat up a fair bit of it, it’s worse than an Apple Watch SE, not sure why they ruined a good watch like this but mines on its way back to Amazon

              How small is the text?
Still no support for text size adjustment yet? (Some texts were way too small in Watchfit 3, so I had returned.)
Hope Huawei add this support this time.

Why don't you have specifications for this device? Looks interesting to compare with others... I think this will be my next watch.

Also if you want to make a fair comparison, then you should compare your samsung watch with huawei watch gt5, which lasts minimum 10 days, with no problem, far more than other brands.

You don't need to write every time "pun intended"... It's pitiful...

Six days with disabled notifications and only one hour tracked fitness? On a feature watch? I hope consumer agencies are paying attention to their fraudulent marketing?

I can get 5 days in my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro these days. With all smart features enabled and continuous automatic fitness tracking. That's a nearly THREE YEARS OLD watch!

One thing I'll be interested to hear more on is the voice dictation. The GT5 (and later Gt4 via an update) watches both have the on screen keyboard that lets you replay to texts etc. and this keyboard does actually support voice as well - but only if you're using it with a Huawei phone.
For the fit 4 devices, they're now specifically advertising voice transcription for message replies. I wonder if that means these will now let you do voice dictation without needing Huawei phones paired?

This article says the Huawei watch fit 4 pro checks blood pressure but I couldn't see that feature online.

Reviews on YouTube already show great results, except for sleep tracking.

Looks like the same HR sensor as the 5 series - which got significantly worse vs the 3 and 4 series, and now lags a long way behind the Pixel 3 and Apple units.
