Anonymous, 15 May 2025200 pro with same wide and periscope of this one got humili... moreLYT-900 is better, no doubt about it. This phone would've been perfect, had it featured a 35mm LYT-900 and an 18 mm ultrawide lens instead of 14 mm. This would've made the main sensor a proper compact camera experience and 18 mm UW would've served a much better video-only solution, but I guess Vivo wants to leave the room for upgrade for the upcoming X300U.

Eyaddy, 15 May 2025The Xiaomi is competitive in the main camera sensor and the... moreThe Xiaomi's main issue is a lack of consistency, 3-4/10 times it'll give you a shot that blows all of the other phones away, 5-6/10 times the phone will give a good result. The rest will be mid or bad.

The Oppo however is a truly splendid cameraphone. The zoom cams, although not the greatest on paper, are still mighty impressive and come quite close to the Vivo, although still not quite as great, they're still amazing, especially if Oppo doesnt scrub the details away at night. But yeah, the Vivo's UW cam is the best in the industry rn. Besides that, the Oppo's nearly on par with Vivo I'd say, if you prefer Oppo's style the Vivo will look bad to you.

At the end of the day, although the Vivo is overall the better choice, if you prefer one phone's style, that phone will be king for you. These are 3 excellent phones and depending on your style/focal length preference, you should go for either one of them.

Bot10Exists, 15 May 2025best mobile camera in existence, bar none200 pro with same wide and periscope of this one got humiliated by 100 ultra .

People need to understand and accept : Lyt900 is better than 818.

If Apple or samsung had traded camera for new one 70% smaller, none would defend. All this free pass is just because vivo is chinese

best mobile camera in existence, bar none

                Please do the full review.

Ivan will definitely have fun testing the Vivo X200 Ultra to it's true limits.
I can't wait for the review.

PS Vita, 15 May 2025Would love to see a comparison between this and the Xiaomi ... moreThe Xiaomi is competitive in the main camera sensor and the 4.3x telephoto camera sensor other than that the Vivo X200 Ultra is simply the best.
The OPPO X8 Ultra is also competitive in the main camera sensor, the rest of the sensors are close but not the same as the X200 Ultra especially the Ultra wide sensor.

I have the ultra 200x in use for a week now and am impressed with a lot of things. But did anyone mention the lack of support for notification badges of apps yet? This for me is a big disappointment I did not now of before my purchase.

Looking forward to this review! The flagship Android scene has not been this competitive for a long time.

I am glad you have big plans! When you do the camera comparison, please perform a test of the minimum focus distance for macro photography when using the zoom lens. It's not something I have seen done properly elsewhere. Ideally set both devices to manual focus, setting it to minimum then get as close as possible and take a shot.

                          Thanks!

Imx888 ( 53 not 52MP) is not cropped, it is 4,3:3 shape , so those 5MP will always remain outside lens covered area. They can only be used to improve EIS.

due to all that excitement Ivan made an error in the second para

"an 85mm f/2.3 zoom camera with the same size sensor as the Galaxy S25 Ultra's main camera"

The zoom cam is 1/1.4" and the S25U's cam is 1/1.3". Basically the same size as the iPhone/Vivo's main cam. A more apt comparison would be the Oneplus 13's 1/1.43" main cam or better yet the Xperia 1 VII's main cam which is originally a 1/1.35" 52 MP sensor that's cropped to a 1/1.43" effective 48 MP sensor, so basically the Vivo's telephoto sensor is larger than those two phones' main cams instead of the S25 Ultra's one.

Error aside... FINALLY! I'm kinda certain the battery life will be at worst slightly better than the X100 Ultra and more reasonably on the same level as the X100 Pro

There will also be numerous people complaining about the charging speeds, which will be slower than what the wattage might show due to it being a single cell 6000 mah battery. It'll be slower than the Xiaomi 15 Ultra's, because the Xiaomi uses a smaller 5410 mah battery that GSMArena used for their tests. Smaller size = faster charging. The Find X8 Ultra/Oneplus 13 have dual cell designs and thus have nearly double the charging speeds despite only a modest wattage increase.

                                  Finally!

thickness of the camera island is ridiculous but 35mm main cam is sick, so excited for the review

Would love to see a comparison between this and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
