I remember many years ago Xiaomi had that Pine cone chip and it was not very good. This one is looking just okay, 8 gen 2 is good, but not a flagship chip.

Leaks say this processor will be in the Xiaomi 15s Pro. Newer leaks suggest this processor is much more powerful than what is mentioned in this post.
Anyways, will there be a Xiaomi 15T/Pro other than the 15s? Or will the T version be screwed?

HyperOS already NOT the Android AOSP. It's Xiaomi OS based on Linux, and the Android framework is just one of the layer on top of the OS. You can search the web HyperOS vs. MiUI.

If Xiaomi claim their chip on par, but out perform the competition. It will get good rep
When time comes, xiaomi could introduce the upper version.
i.e. Let say this first one were said on par with Dimensity 8000 series & Snapdragon 7 series.
Next year, or next next year, create the one that on par with Dimensity 9000 series / Snapdragon Elite series.
