Anonymous, 17 hours agoWhy do people want upgrade every year. I liked m35 except t... moreyou will buy this phone just just for less weight??
Can't even handle a mere 220g phone?
Iam sunig M35 witha case and it weights around 280g now.
at first it was hard but now after many months i don't really feel it's any heavier than other phones.
the camera on M36 might be slightly improved.especially the front cam.
Other than that i don't really see why you wana waste your money for thr upgrade.
also smaller battery and that battery won't be enough if you are used to the great battery life of M35.

Why do people want upgrade every year. I liked m35 except the fact that it weighted 220 gram. I will buy this phone if it weights below 200 grams..It is just a phone not not life.

Anonymous, 17 May 2025Again exynos chisel
It's scam
Currently I am using ... moreIt's not that bad at lower mid range as people don't game anyway at this segment. The problem is the network modems of Samsung and their process node. I wish Exynos moved to TSMC until Samsung got their Fab act together.
The problem with M36 however is the chip from last year's M35. Now that sucks.

I usually say that this or that phone have this problem and to some extent it's okay (remove some features to cut the cost cutting ) but after previously 2-3 yes Samsung is just launching same shit expecting to that 1-2 old shit at higher price that previous and now I wish for Samsung to lose hefty amount of smartphone market in mid range and lower one 👍👍👍👍. (I am moving to Motorola and not gonna review anymore Samsung phone )

Looks to be they're just rebranding the M35, which curiously ended being better than the M55. Looks to be this time will be a bit different... Hoping they don't touch the battery.

Hasan 85, 16 May 2025Why samsung uses very small ram
6gb for midrange mobile. A... moreBasically yes, every company does it and have done for many years.
They release multiple of a product, they want you too buy the most expensive device/product so they'll give you cheaper alternatives but with enough comprises that you'll convince yourself you need the extra hardware/features etc from the most expensive device.
You could get this at 256gb but only 6gb ram or the s24fe with 8gb of ram and 256gb storage for just a little bit more money. Then you'll see the s25 just a little more than that/same price which has 12gb of ram but only 128gb storage. So you'll check price for the 256gb version, to then notice the s25+ with bigger battery, high quality screen/bigger, better charging and its only a bit more expensive with 256gb storage (the lowest spec you can get is 256gb/12gb ram). Base spec s25u might not be much more than that but offers way more for your money (better/more cams, reflective coating, bigger battery etc).
In reality the m36 is perfectly fine for your needs but the advertising and carefully positioned pricing convinces you to pay a bit more, but for more/better quality/having all future features like "a.i." which needs about 12gb minimum atm. You can replace the m36 with an A or F series device or swap to any company and you'll see this practice happen every time.

Why samsung uses very small ram
6gb for midrange mobile. And 8gb for fan edition flagship s24 fe.
Is that marketing policy to force you to purchase new smartphone before end of the software support period

That's great! Finally some more rebranded and outdated plastic device to choose from, no chipset upgrade from the previous generation isn't an issue if they make it thinner with a smaller battery, hopefully 4500mAh at max.

If m36 with 6000mah + 8 mm thickness, then acceptable. Otherwise m35 is far better
