Apple was known for being "innovative before, now it's just the same as others (other than having bigger mouth with its marketing).
They are temporarily selling a lot of products due to their brand name being known, but it will someday run out of the fuel & stumble upon.

Will see how Apple is going to treat their customers who will bought their foldable phone.
At least Samsung has had very bad press with issues with their foldable phones.
I had Fold gen 1, gen 3 and then Flip 5 and with that Flip 5 and the issues with what i had with Samsung warranty i am not buying Samsung phones(foldable or not) anymore.
If Apple is not going to give their customers proper warranty services if there is any issues with their 2000+dollar foldabels it will likely affect people wanting to buy regular iPhones too.
I was till that Flip 5 huge advocate for foldable phones(and i recommended those to anyone) but i am for now using regular slab phone(Oneplus 12), now i am waiting for some wireless smart glasses that could be used to watch videos, connect bluetooth gamepad to play some games with bigger display, but it could be that unless Google is going to release their Android XR glasses this year and Meta releasing their smart glasses with single screen for one eye only(i am not going to buy it if it just for one eye only) i had to wait for 2026-2028 till something actually usable comes.

Apple has patents for under screen camera since 2006 for the Mac. So they aren’t copying anyone. Every company works in everything at the same time. Some features are a priority for one and not for others. All UDC so far are either terrible or have many trade offs. One day it will be great and it will be a combination of multiple companies working together. So this nonsense that X copied y needs to stop. If Apple is willing to pay lg and Samsung tons of money to fix this issue then great every company will benefit. Apple gave us lpto remember, but Samsung made the panels. That benefits everyone.

You go to Samsung and ask for a foldable phone. How do you want to fold it? You go to Apple and ask for a foldable phone. We don't have a foldable phone. Buy our top iPhone now and wait until 2027.
