AnonD-178450, 12 Sep 2013Shamesung, i just have one thing to ask you, i know 64-bit ... moreThat's stupid. Why would a competitive company wait to release something to catch up with competiton? It's not like 64-bits chips are new to the world.

Go read about PAE and learn how you can have more than 4GB of RAM in a 32bit CPU (for instance Windows Server and Linux do it)

You only need more than 32bits if you want more than 4GB in a *single* process (app), but each process (app) can have it's own 4GB (max.) thus making use of more than 4GB in total.

Shamesung, i just have one thing to ask you, i know 64-bit was quite inevitable, but tell me one thing that WHY the f*** you had to wait to make one until Apple makes one. THIS proves u're copycat.

KKKAKA, 12 Sep 2013Apple iphone 5S has only 1GB ram! So for what u need a 64bi... moreActually you're wrong!

64bit means that the CPU can read LARGER instructions vs 32 bit. More addressable RAM is simply a positive byproduct of the CPU's added functionality! You should educate yourself!

I dont know why the hell everybody bashing Samsung for this. 64bit is not made by Apple and even now they cant use it bceause 5s having only 1 GB of RAM. This is just a marketing GIMMIC. Samsung will bring the real 64 Bit experience with their next flagship like they added 3GB ram for the Note 3.

if you really wanna findout some serious copycats either you can check IOS 7 ui or Whole LG G2.

                    64Bit doesn't only mean 4GB+ RAM.....

New instruction set which 64Bit will bring is what is important.

Most likely Android 5.0 will bring 64bit support to Android.

The post about this are getting more ridiculous by each new one. I so hope, that these are just trolls, that want to get the bashing going, because otherwise, they are just blind idiots, who don't have their own opinion.

64bit processing cannot be copied - this is something that will happen, when current computing devices are getting to the magical 4GB RAM marker. Just for educational purposes - 32bit processing cant use more than ~3.2GB of RAM - for devices that use/need more, a 64bit processor and system is mandatory. There for when mobile devices started growing their RAM spec, it was just the matter of time, when 64bit conversion will come.

If somebody has this feel, that 64bit is some magical function for their new fruitmobile, you are so of the course, that should go back to good old Nokia days, and calm down a bit.

My friends, ARM had announced the Cortex a 57 which is an architecture to support 64 bit OS. So isnt it logic that semi conductor manufacturers like samsung will use this deign to integrate it in the Cpu's? Well its sure :) so samsung follows the development. And also i want to mention that 64 bit is an instruction to adress more physicall cache space which isnt a property of apple, its a standard in the pc world. Thanks
