Oh my sweet lord - 64bit processor is not "Apple feature" - this cant be copied, it has been in the world for some time now. Ofc all manufacturers will release 64bit system phones, exactly like 32bit PC computing has turned the page with 64bit. When larger RAM and bigger files, 4gig+, are used, the benefit of 64bit computing performs better.

The annoucement, that Samsung will release 64bit devices, is nothing new, the conversion started, when smartphones became computer like devices.

The statements that using 64bit CPUs in device is copyng smb - is as solid as arguement, that when Samsung CEO uses plane travel, like Apple CEO does, he is yet again coping Apple.

This is technological evolution, that has been going on for decades now - it cant be copied!

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2013So just a couple of days after Apple announces 64 bit archi... moreWould it make you more happy that Samsung would have to use 64-bits OS and CPU on their next Galaxy Note 4 anyways even if they didn't speak about it now?

Samsung will be forced to use 64-bit OS and CPU if the Galaxy Note 4 will have 4 GB RAM as i believe it will have.

The first Galaxy Note had 1 GB RAM, Galaxy Note 2 had 2 GB RAM and now, the Galaxy Note 3 have 3 GB with RAM. So it's pretty clear that the Galaxy Note 4 will have 4 GB with RAM.

So just because Samsung announced this now doesn't make it any different.

EDIT: Oh also, just to add this. If Samsung is copying Apple when it's about the 64-bit OS and CPU, then Apple have copied Intel and AMD fully out then.

Now i know why....people keep sayin samsung is no.1 copycat brand...
Jk shin- where your going to hide your copycat face????????

Copy & Paste, 12 Sep 2013It's funny how samsung reacted to apples 64-bit processor, ... moreNot really. You can't just announce something like this if you didn't plan it before. Designing processor isn't easy. It require long process and deciding whether they go 32 or 64 bits. It just that they need to rush the announcement after Apple positive on using 64 bits.

people who say samsung has copied apply on 64bit processor is like saying "Apple has 2gb ram, if samsung increased its ram to 2gb, it is definitely copying Apple" ... 64bit processors allow better performance with rams due to parallel threading. I am a devout Samsung fan and i have used all galaxy "s" phones but i have never apple hated on there design, only on there ecosystem (they dont offer freedom and for a power user it is crictical, you wont see many IT users/hackers with sole iphones because it is easier to live with andriod)

Samsung didn't introduce it in Note 3 because all off the apps are 32bit .. whether macs tore apps or google play apps...

It speaks volumes about Samsungs strategy. they have none.

The company that introduces technology that can be easily used by people wins. Apple has done a great job at simplifying complex technology, and they don't need the best and latest hardware to do so. They use the hardware that fits their requirements.

8 Mpx cameras are nothing terrible, high enough resolution to print, but not too high to fill up too much space. If you optimise the picture quality you win.

A new fingerprint sensor implementation could change the way the technology gets used by customers.

I wonder how many people actually wanted to use the Atrix fingerprint scanner?

And saying samsung isnt innovating and always behind apple.. I mean s4 already has s health (software to monitor smartphone sensors) as apple announced, and the 720p@120fps s4 already has that.. but no one says apple copied samsung.. and even now I can interact with my s4 without touching it airview smartscroll, etc aren't those innovations? Iphone is way behind latest samsungs period.. so samsung copied 64bits after apple A7 its like mocking them and it really doesnt bring such different features on a phone.. software will act exacly the same
