I don't understand GSMA readers... Different camera design? Ewww, that's copying X/Y/Z brand! Removed feature? Ewww, they remove feature that was removed years ago!
At this point, I'm in the boat that vast majority of readers are here due to attention starvation, not because they genuinely care about phones other than to bash and live in a "perfect phone" hardware fantasy.
Idc that it looks like Samsung A/S, Xiaomi models or any other "stick/cylinder" styled camera island . I like simple designs and this phone fulfills that gap, because it's not meant to be a camera phone to begin with. Do you want all phones to carry a rectangular, round waffle design? No? Then this is another option. Look at Nord 4. Everyone bashed it's "generic" design, yet it is one of the recent more popular OP mid-rangers.
I only wish Vivo was more present in the EU as importing their good phones is way too costly and mostly unsupported by ISP.

People buy the X series because of the Camera
And how it's looks cool because it's like a profesional camera (big circle at back)
The S series is phone first, Camera second

DarlingYext, 10 hours agoVivo why? It doesn't even look like a vivo phone, look... moreMuch more practical design than the Vivo x200 pro mini. They learnt from their mistakes with that terrible design. When holding the Vivo x200 pro mini many people's hand will always touch the camera module due to the large centrally placed camera module which ruins the in hand feel (which is basically one of the main points of a relatively compact phone). This phone won't have that problem. Vivo even recognized this in their promotion materials as there was a lot of consumer comments about the poorly designed x200 pro mini so they mentioned today that the two vertical sensors with one placed horizontally was designed to improve the in-hand feel

A "compact" mid-ranger with a huge battery, give it a side-mounted (not optical) fingerprint sensor, and a good price.
Finally, something interesting, but I guess it won't be seen globally, sadly.
