You read that right, the Snapdragon 888 from 2020 is back and is apparently ready for some 120+ fps gaming.

SD888 and selling 400 USD?? LOL?? 😳
I rather buy iPhone 16e than this gaming tablet crap 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

That 2.8K 144Hz screen will eat a lot of performance out of that SD888 in gaming. Never mind that in my mind 13-14 inch screen for tablets is too big for gaming. While 13-14inch is too small screen for gaming when it comes to laptops. So it's the weird size for me on tablet that is a bit too big that makes no sense to replace a laptop for it.

And for 355 euro i would not get a tablet that have SD888 when i get SD7+ gen 3 tablet with less money.

Calling it a "Gaming" tablet without offering expandable storage, 3.5mm jack and specs barely making it

      Is a fail

If they wanna go old school: SD Gen1 plus. No less.

          sd888 for $400?

that bs lmfao. should be $200 if 888 is already OLD

jiyen235, 22 May 2025what's wrong with just using a newer gen midrange chip... moreand isn't 888 famous for being too hot

The GT slate has a slender metal body that measures 6.5mm thick and houses a 10,000mAh battery. That battery supports 33W charging. There is a 13MP camera on the back and a 9MP camera on the front.

Interesting only 6,5mm thicknes for 10 000 mAh cell and a unusual camera resolution a 9 Mpix. SD888 is still very capable even for this day.

I got my OnePlus Pad 2 few months ago for less than $400. Which devours this garbage in every aspects.

Xiaomi Pad 7: Laughing in the corner, it features the SD7+ Gen 3, which provides 54% more performance compared to the SD888. It has a higher resolution 68 billion colour Dolby Vision screen, weighs 155 grams less, and offers faster USB 3.2 connectivity for comparatively better software support. All of this for just $315. Also by adding $23 extra you are getting the Nano Texture Anti-Reflective Screen! Just like the MacBook's and iPad Pro's.

At least, that can render 8K, unlike most chipsets available at that price. Besides, it's a substantial upgrade from the lower-end Helio G99 from its predecessor.

Why no use 8350? 888 is heat CPU.

$400 with a snapdragon 888 ROFL yeah no thanks

what's wrong with just using a newer gen midrange chip? perhaps they had some 888s layin around so they decided to use em lol
