maybe some parts of wearOS has been optimized over the years thus providing better performance than previously but most of these changes are inline with android kernel switches rather than os level enhancements.
android went from dalvik to art since android 5.0. ART has been optimized over the years, ART today is not the same as it was back when it was first introduced.
i'd argue that moving to ART gave all the performance increases you were talking about rather than copying tizen

Samsung is the biggest contributor to Android development. Samung has shared all of those performance tricks with Android ages ago. Primarily because Android is their source of income when selling mobiles.

If any improvements are there, it will be marketed (like W920 vs W930). In this case, it's likely the exact same chip as the Watch7 using the same 3nm GAA process. Maybe with process optimizations they are getting better yields, but for a customer it's irrelevant and has no effect on the end product.

Samsung does not dictate third party developers into making apps for their platform. Not one software platform in the world works like that. Anyone with a half functional brain understands this without explanation.
The current WearOS is Tizen rebranded. Which is why WearOS went from abysmal in 2.x to the most efficient and functional in 3.0. Looking and working identical to Tizen, with a Google app store.
This was THE ONLY intent Google had, when refusing to make apps on Tizen, despite Tizen was the de facto smart watch OS for Android. In a functional society, that is called criminal antitrust. Unfortunately, people keeps voting legislators in who loves siding with big corporations against the people who voted them in.

IT was consistently lasting 4 days until the major update this winter, which EXTENDED the battery life. Yes, that is what Samsung does to old devices. The opposite of what Apple and the Chinese do.
