Somebody doesn't care does not mean they will be unhappy if provided with (given an option). If Apple migrates to HRR display nobody will complain.
If being satisfied with known tech (even knowing the improved tech is there and working reliably) was goal of human life, humans would've been stuck in stone age. Why improve when everything works fine hun?
What I'm saying is HRR display tech is matured enough that can be produced in millions and apple can use it (low cost), being stuck at 60hz just because apple wanna squeeze customers is not good.

You want a phone with a HRR display, then by all means, get one. If somebody else simply doesn't care, who are you to say they should?
And before anyone starts with that dopey 'once you see 120hz, you can never go back' line. Very few people on this planet live exclusively with HRR displays. Most people go back and forth every day and don't even realise they are doing so, from phones to tablets to laptops, monitors, tvs etc.

Beats me why would anyone buy I 16 (in all guises) other than because so many think it is a status symbol. Mediocre in all categories apart from a barely noticeable speed advantage. Even stranger that Samsung is doing so well.

Everyone knows 60hz on iPhone is MUCH SMOOTHER AND BETTER than 120 even better than 144hz slowdroids! 🤣 120hz iPhone is equal to 360hz slowdroid which BTW DOES NOT EXIST! 🤣🤣

That STILL is not an excuse for Apple selling phones and tablets with outdated panels. Also funny how you say only those care that would not buy it anyways; That is the whole point, those are the ones aware of this flaw, most buyers have no clue about them missing out.

You get 120 Hertz and a telephoto lense. Apple make the non-Pro models purposefully bad to sell the higher end ones. Samsung could and should do better and I think the S26 series will finally be the changing point. If not, they will absolutely feel that their users are tired of not getting anything new.

Believe it or not guys but there are evidently plenty of people out there that just don't find how many times the screen refreshes to be in any way important in their daily lives. I've said it before and will say it again this whole HRR thing is a big deal only for tech enthusiasts yapping away on sites like this.
For the vast majority of people, if you want to quickly bore them to death, start talking about things like HRR, or Ram, or Mhz or any of this techy related stuff and I guarantee you'll quickly see their eyes glazing over as they yawn away.
Yeah it would be nice if Apple made HRR a thing across the iPhone range, especially considering the prices they charge. It's bloody obvious they don't need to though, so I can understand the decision from their perspective, even if I don't wholly agree with it.
I do think the rest of you need to get over it though. It's ironic (not to mention totally ridiculous) that the people most upset by the iPhone 16 not having a 120hz display are the ones that DIDN'T buy the dam thing...🤦♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️

I'm convinced to buy the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in few mnths and people have already started pushing me towards apple by saying.. you should buy Iphone n not any other brand over 50000rs($600). And all they have a reason fr it is Apple deserves high value no matter what. But no other brand deserves it.. except Samsung's ultra but that's also is overpriced according to dem.
