And also, anything below 3500mAh these days is utterly unacceptable, silicon carbon cell or not.

Above 140 mm tall, it just isn't compact. 6.3 inch size isn't a compact size at all

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2025Dude, please get some education. A compact phone has certai... moreThere is no law saying that only 6.0" or smaller phones are compact. Maybe it doesn't make sense to you, but yes, if we reach a state in which phones will be 10" big, then something like an 7-8" phone will be considered compact. Sure, that's just an example, because we're certainly never reaching such numbers, but it's simply how the industry works. And I've used 6.2-6.3" smartphones before, and they were very manageable with one hand, enough to be called compact.

So again, you simply don't want to accept how things are moving, or you've got very small hands, in which case, tough luck. Things are getting bigger, even smaller and compact is getting bigger, and in the end, we can't do shit about it.

Correct, but interestingly this statement doesn't matter when talking about a certain slim phone, even though this compact phone with a 5850mAh battery will still last twice as much as that phone can, but yeah the 13T could last maybe another couple hours extra.

Anyway, the S30 Pro Mini should be better than the 13s/T, assuming a global release with no cut-down specs (seems basically impossible due to incompetence among all Chinese phone manufacturers).

According to your logic (or the lack of it), anything slightly smaller than the outgoing size makes phone a compact. If phones are 10 inch big, then for you, 9.9 would be compact. Does that make any sense ? No

I'm getting tired with OEMs and tech bloggers keep increasing their definition of "small." It was 5.8", then 6.1", now 6.3" is "small."
I think they should just release a "small" and "compact" 7" phone and be done with it. I'm sure many people would want a 7"+ phones.

The unequal top and bottom bezels are a deal breaker. Add to that the corner bezels being thicker than the rest of the display. Just looks so weird and ugly

They could've done something like the Pixel 9a or iPhone 16e, i.e slightly thicker but uniform bezels all over

The display would've became around 6.1 or 6 that way, but would've looked much better. Also, for those looking for a smaller phone, that difference would be negligible

The bezels being unequal and then the corner situation makes this look so much worse once you notice it. For this very reason I'm going to skip this phone

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 05 Jun 2025So, a worse battery than the mid-range 13T and still no UW.... moreIt's not a cut down version of the 13t. It has an upgraded 32mp selfie cam with auto focus and 4k front video. The Oneplus 13t is stuck on 1080p 30fps for the old front camera sensor. Therefore there is one upgrade and one downgrade. A lot of consumers never use the ultrawide so it won't affect them. Obviously though if you are a person who wants an ultrawide you can simply buy a different phone

same price as the IQOO 13....

hmm not the greatest pricing but not the worst either ig? Cus there's nothing quite like it, 8 Elite at this size at this price. Just wondering why anyone would buy the 512 gig version of this when the Xiaomi 15 could be bought if u stretch ur budget slightly lol

Could've been at least 50 dollars cheaper considering the lack of a UW cam, the bad selfie cam, USB 2.0 being there and the Ultrasonic scanner not being there.

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2025You're wrong. This isn't a compactYes it is. These days, it is. Stop being so stupidly stubborn. In a world with 6.8", 6.9", hell, even 7.0" phones dominate, 6.3" and below is compact. That's how it is, whether you accept it or not. Period.
