I see Android army is fighting with each other, HTC One, Nexus 4, Samsung S4, LG G2, Note 3, Sony Z1, MOTO X and now Nexus 5, wow to many options for users which is good but seems like a very strong fight for Handset makers.
Nexus 5 made by LG and it will have almost same specs as LG G2. I am sure Nexus 5 will destroy G2 sale.

8GB is enough like others are stating.
I think this wont be a FAIL, i think it will end up surprising a lot of consumers.

Nobody needs 8gb & past that capacity. We have free cloud services of up to 50gb hell i only consume 0.1% of the storage

8GB is enough for me, & 16GB is too much for sure. I just upload all pics and 1080p videos and download them when i want it again.

Million people ou... moreBuddy its because i have a 64 gb card and i use it on my phone now, so if i have a new phone i would use it on the new phone also, but if the option issint there, i wont buy a phone with no sd card slot. Thats why people complain about no sd card, because we are using one.

Who going to store movie/ music in phone for 16-32gb and last will result to lagg and stuttering. Only dumb will do that.go buy ext. Hdd to store all your junk file.
What people care = cheaper + super fast optimization + latest kernel from google + fast update.

Beat all samsung galaxy phone to shame especially graphic test.
Really really bad ass gpu performance .....i never look on what samsung offer their 2 junk phone like s4 and note3.
Definitely will buy this and really hope this will beat z ultra and note 3 to hell.cant wait for the benchmark for nex5.

While I don't think a phone of these specs will release with just 8gb of storage, I think we'll likely see 16gb and 32gb models, with maybe 12gb/28gb available to the user.
