Realme used artificial frames and very cheap thermal throttling tactics whereas Redmagic had poor touch sampling rates

but i must say, Redmagic is prone to gaming the system. Their throttling performance is nice but iirc Geekerwan's performance videos showed that redmagic does some weird tricks to get higher fps on benchmarks/in game metrics but in reality the game is a little stuttery, even more so than other normal phones, due to lower 1% lows.

I suggest you to watch their Ultimate Mobile Phone Review thing. Absolutely top notch vid and exposes brands like ZTE and Realme.

Phones like this without a Dex-like desktop environment capability feels like a waste of silicon.

If Qualcomm (and Apple too) keep making monster CPUS that can cause 1st degree burns without a case, they need to give us the option to manually choose from a selection of wattages/clock speeds. When one of the biggest cooling chambers and a fan can't help, you can't let the phone choose by itself when to stop pumping 15W in a handheld device.

I know power saving can reduce the clock speeds, but it also limits the phone to 60hz. Both Apple and Androids have lower end phones that can do 120hz while scoring lower than new devices on PSM, so this limit makes no sense.

When will you remove the useless cpu throttling test? The app is outdated and in no way shows the actual cpu performance of the phone. Those battery temps are at 55c though, wonder how long the battery lasts without significant degradation.

We would not need any heavy vapor chamber or whatever nonsense in high end phones if their chips ran at 3 instead of 4 GHz. Would be much better for battery life too. Only advantage for this is bragging rights in benchmarks, and 10% better gaming performance. Look at Galaxy A56 or A16 5G for example. Exynos 1580 and 1330 manufactured by Samsung foundry, which is known to be not as good as the 3nm TSMC flagship chipsets in terms of raw efficiency at the same clock speed. And the lack of bigger cores theoretically puts them at an even bigger efficiency disadvantage at the high end. But they are not driven to unnecessarily high clock speeds so they have excellent stability. And don’t believe any of those two phones uses any type of advanced passive cooling solution.

"the active cooling system does not bring enough benefit to justify the extra cost and complications (e.g. the basic water resistance) associated with it." isn't this phone has some first in the class basic protection against water?

These percentages aren't doing it enough justice. 79% GPU stability down to ~5500 points while the ROG phone at its max is only at ~5500

Imagine adding noise, moving parts, less water and dust resistance for no perceivable advantage. At this point the RGBs might unironically contribute more towards performance than the useless miniature fan.
