If you want to play games while lying on your bed now and then, the PS5 isn't better. You can have both, by the way. Buying a Nintendo Switch 2 doesn't prevent you from buying a PS5, and vice versa.

Rolly Ghiz, 05 Jun 2025I wonder if this has better graphics than a PS5 judging fro... moreThe Switch 2 has 1.7 tflops in handheld and 3.1 in docked mode. The PS5 has 10 and the PS5 pro has 17. So the regular PS5 is more than 3 times as powerful as the Switch 2 (graphics wise).
For reference, an old RTX 3070 has 20 tflops, a 4080 has 53 rflops, and a 5090 can go all the way up to 120 if oced and watercooled.
