Anonymous, 10 Jun 2025Here a fun fact for haters that point out glass design was ... morea portion of population knew this, but Windows Vista is way more resource intensive. and not everyone had a Mac with OS X at its time.

no apple intelligence big update they keep marketing for years? though I don't really like most ai chatbot as I see them as a spying tool for US gov but apple has already have the ai chatbot/spy tool since IOS 17 but with very impractical AI features

It wasn't all bad, there some nice feature improvements here and there. This glass design thing though, not a fan, and there are already plenty of video's on X showing some of the issue's this design langauge can bring. Biggest of which is the separation of the visual layers, for example, bringing down the control centre over already busy home screen, results in an incoherent mess.
On the Apple intelligence front, it was quite ballsy of them to pretty much lean so heavily on this, given the year they have had, but that's Apple I suppose. Anyway, again some subtle new features here and there. I did note though Craig Federighi suggesting the bigger stuff like the contextually aware Siri is still 'over the coming year' so that could be anytime between now and next June 🤷♂️
Overall, not quite the update I would have been hoping for if I were still an iOS user. Absolutely no improvements to notification management, which was always top of my wish list. In fact I would trade all UI and Ai overhauls for a complete re-working of iOS notifications

This UI is like a dime a dozen in Xiaomi's theme store. Just cheap looking and tacky.

Here a fun fact for haters that point out glass design was Windows Vista. The first MacOS X was released in March 24, 2001 comes with glossy glass like buttons on most of the UI and your so called Windows Vista was released on (guess what?) January 30, 2007.
Millennials and Gen Z really lazy ass and only believe in 2 minutes professor whatever they said.
Jokes on you 🤦🏻♂️

"Live Translation" - they copied 1:1 what Samsung created... Where are those which only see when Samsung copies Apple and never the other way around?

I dont want to be that guy but yeah.. This feel really nostalgic.
Feels a lot like older HTC Sense skin + Windows 7 Aero design and older ios combines. It not a bad design but apple make a big deal about this like always. I guess I will miss the flat design.
Will see how it goes, I definitely will update one of my Apple devices to beta to experience the "new" design elements. Probably will like it for nostalgic reason.

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2025So next iPhone this year will be iPhone 26 SeriesI would be glad if all phones and other devices becomes this naming: not iPhone 17 but iPhone 26. Same for Pixel: not 10 but 26. It would be much easier

Why does my iPhone 16 Pro Max lag / crash when playing games? It's not smooth at 120Hz, it should be possible, this is an expensive phone, why can't it? Then when scrolling for example Facebook, Instagram, X, Tweet, it feels like it drops at 60Hz, 30Hz, not 120Hz, lags / crashes too. Even though the application is light, not a heavy application, why is that?👎
