A lot of talents and funds are also being diverted to mobile now, which will soon be able to play your "real games" without the unnecessarily big desktop.

I guess you didn't realize Nvidia and AMD raises prices since you don't care about switching. Didn't AMD release that 8GB GPU in 2025 or Nvidia keep raising those prices to $3k.
People like you is the reason why those PC hardware manufactures keep raising the prices.
