They have always been so proud of being far ahead when it comes to single core performance while keeping quiet about the other specs falling more and more behind. Let me enjoy the change of pace for once; It's nice to see that Qualcomm, Mediatek of all companies and maybe even Samsung\ Google finally catched up or even outpaced them.

Are they pushing the chip even harder than they did with the 8 Elite? If so then i dont think they can keep going any farther without causing some sort of explosion in the phone some day.

            The peak limit of chips in terms of power has been rising each generation for some reason, i dont get it. Yeah big numbers look great but they also make normal people not understand what efficiency is and how the newer chips are more efficient and stuff. It's just all unsafe marketing stuff imo.

                  Pixel never had a flagship SoC comparable with other flagships in the same era, yet you are here complaining. I get it. It is apsurd to buy a phone without an on par performance lile other flagships for the same price around 1000$, but then again.. who cares? How many of you would buy a 1000$ phone to play games on it? Because that's the only field where you need all that power. I guess you will have to wait for Tensor G7 and then you will still not buy Google Pixel. Lmao.

                    s8elite2 is expected to score 4000(sc)-11000(mc). so, it will be on par with a19pro in singlecore but, superior in multicore. s8elite GPU was better than a18pro so, s8elite2 will probably be better than a19pro, too. good to see android SoCs have similar raw performance with apple counterparts unlike until 2-3 years ago. as an android user, I expect s8elite2 to have better sustained performance with less throttling than s8elite.

                                        No GPU numbers so it's safe to say, the 8 Elite 2 will destroy this chip completely, seeing as the predecessor already has a much more powerful GPU inside than Apple chips.
