Anonymous, 13 Jun 2025LAVA has been pushing some great hardware at competitive pr... moreLava do make good hardwares, software updates are on-time too. I've been using lava phone as my secondary phone. Only problem is their software part. My phone keeps restarting constantly once in 15 days. I've heard same issues from many users too. Don't know if they've resolved this part. If any1 uses lava device pls confirm if these issues are resolved or not.

Sounds like a great deal for its market (I assume INR 10,000 is particularly cheap based on previous posts). There is one problem though — 1 OS update and 2 years of security updates is the worst joke I have ever seen when it comes to update policy in this day and age.

10k? that's cheap yet overkill at that price. specifically the camera part, ram and UFS type. just hope they have gyroscope for video stabilization.

Dear Author, you said..
"" Lava advertises the Storm Play as the world's first Dimensity 7060-powered smartphone, which is incorrect since the Motorola Moto G56, introduced last month, came with the Dimensity 7060 at the helm. ""
You're right. But actually, Moto G56 is not launched in India. And Lava is an Indian company, focusing on Indian market only, so maybe "available first in India" is what they mean. Or maybe they mean, under the price of 10k.
But you're right: writing "world's first" when its not, is sorta wrong.
Very recently, there has been this trend in India where they say "segment's first Dimensity 7020" or so... They're following this, although it's a useless trend.

I'm glad someone make affordable phones to cater to poor people's needs. And they don't even look bad - at all!

LAVA has been pushing some great hardware at competitive prices since their resurgence, but can any users tell me about the software experience. Some reviews suggest bugs. Also how's the update situation?
