All the hype made me think a bit about significantly different alternatives...
Have a look at this
http://www.kyoex.com/docomo-fujitsu-f-04d-carbon-titanium-exmor-phone-silver-color/
a carbon-fiber titanium coated waterproof clamshell, with 13M ExmorR sensor, and weighs in at 109g, and 1.09cm thick, Full HD camera, fingerprint reader et cetera... And it costs less than $500...
And it is TWO YEARS old!!!
It really make my sulk at the junk we get offered in Europe for high prices...

What gets me is i waited in the queue this morning and i got a 64GB One but that was not my first option 10 min after the store opened they told us that we had a choice a space grey 64GB One or nothing as all the others where sold out. now the thing being they where only selling 10 customers instore at a time so my estimations that had really limited stock but they where letting people buy them in bulk of 3 and 4 at a time and i think that is rubbish in all fairness because of the low stock it should be limited to one per custmoer. that way it stops people buying 4 at a time and selling them on at inflated prices while there is no stock

[deleted post]We'll talk about that comment you just made in two years time, when your non user replacable battery dies (it will happen and you know it) and you need to get a new iPhone while I'll just swap my "trash" Samsung's battery within 10 seconds for a fraction of the cost. Did I mention those "trash" SD card slots already, or charging pretty with much every charger on the planet with my "trash" micro USB slot?

Typical apple marketing.
Make limited supply, create big queues. Induce exclusivity.
