If regular consumers understand that Samsung's process nodes are absolute garbage in comparison to TSMC's, and have been aware of it for YEARS now, why are Samsung executives all *surprised Pikachu meme* over this?

What went wrong quite funny phrase. Hope Samsung can improve their foundries, cause they are really behind TSMC.

Samsung became too greedy. Their exybos never delivered their promise
Like putting an Exynos in those overpriced s25.
Also tspc moving to the us for some fab. Certainly matters too. Samsung too greeedy again. Keeping all for themselves
They could have done. Making a good competitor, at least less expensive than tsmc-apole. But their greeed and that come not as a surprise.

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2025Samsung isn't communist enough for Google.Tsmc has opened "only one year delayed" fans in the us, which is likely what pushed google's decisions. Samsung does not keep leading edge node fans in the us.

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2025Cheaper you say yet they still charge = to tsmc fabbed flag... moreẞecause they didn't even make any meaningful changes beyond chip in S25.

justasmile, 20 Jun 2025I mean, they weren't good, but at least were much chea... moreNo. They are cheaper to manufacture, because that's usually the case with things that aren't very good, but in the EU they were priced higher than the same S series devices elsewhere with Snapdragon chipsets.

... more"When you use the term ChatGPT, you are "elevating" me somewhat"
Well, that might be true. At least GPT isn't calling itself "ChatGPT is right" and is able to have human like conversations, instead of the gibberish you tend to spam out. Just how narcissistic can you be..

Is that it?
You don't understand many / anything, including vocabulary
When you use the term ChatGPT, you are "elevating" me somewhat
"Machine Learning and Deep Learning," which is I must be honest all down to GREY MATTER
You, on the other hand, no mistaking NO MATTER... what you post it will be shallow
**** On prompt, you have nothing original to say until you respond to other comments and inform people how you USE your phone/ fast charging / battery size/ multiple times repeatedly.
Call SWAT.. DY has taken over S25 Edge user comments / S25 Edge Review / S25 Edge articles

The Exynos chips since 2400 are really really good. Even better than Samsung and even MediaTek ones on 4NM. Even they have good 3 nm products as i have the watch 7.
With the 2NM node, they are going to eat the market. And it's a really good thing, because nobody needs A19 pro or 8 gen 5 or whatever the name when you have a product that works outside of the China's hand.
I see a lot of comparisons between 8 gen 3 and 2400 and Samsung's chip win by a lot in battery and 3D

alcatraz, 20 Jun 2025Exynos+Samsung is going to follow Intel's fate.LSI can't even go fabless because TSMC flat out refuses to make Exynos chips.
We don't even know how good LSI is at designing chips because they're stuck with the Samsung Foundry node

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2025I know. But they are tied up to mouch with US companies. Go... moreThey already are. Just look at TSMC or ASML for example. Despite not being US companies, they must do what they are told by a foreign government because supposedly they use US tech etc.
I found It ridiculous that TSMC has to pay 1B $ to USA, because they made some chips, which in the end went to Huawei.

They were rightfully shocked. TSMC's fabrication process is a lot better and should solve the chip-related overheating and stability issues. But they should be glad that the next Pixel will at least still have Samsung modems (as per latest leaks and rumours). Although that isn't good for us consumers as the network issues will likely stay on the Pixel 10 as a result.
