Plus is the best version for me. If it dies will buy ultra instead as regular one is small and has weaker specs like short battery life and slow charging. As for edge its very similar to regular one. Not worth it.

And is that a good thing? Doesn't seem like that.

DarlingYext, 20 Jun 2025They should've done that in the first place, as it... moreYes, each and every single year since 10 years+ ago, we get 6.7"+ this thin and light flagships. Nothing new at all 😂
As I already said earlier "They needed to replace the Plus model and change [insert fixes list] in the first place."
But since there is an S25+, why make all those changes? It would kill S25+ sales.
And, like under a YouTube comments section, Samsung wanted to be the FIRST to offer a thin and light flagship phone. Before Apple 🤭

Extremely expensive, paper-thin, underperforming device does not sell well. WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK?! If they made it in the ~6" range then maybe it would have found its place

Honestly the best Samsung phone for ages. Never going back to a heavy, fat phone again. The battery is only bad in the eyes of those who have never actually used one. I hope this isn't a failed experiment though the S25 Edge will be good for years to come.

Wrong, Si/C has virtually no weight advantage, only thickness. And I think the S25 Edge is already thin enough.

DarlingYext, 20 Jun 2025Of course, because as long as the BETTER Plus model exists,... moreThey just need to fix a couple of things to fully replace the boring Plus model, like using a larger-capacity silicon-carbon battery, faster charging and better cooling, all in a still very thin and light body.
Now you get a more interesting device, that is nothing like your typical generic 6.7" Plus thick and heavy brick.

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2025what would make it stand out from any other phone if it had... moreSi/C batteries would not have increased the phones weight or thickness. The technology exists to make this a more compelling product and was intentionally not used, that's the point.
Now if you're a customer who isn't bothered by that weakness then cool but there's nothing wrong with pointing out such an obvious and fixable flaw.
Personally I'm exited about thin and light phones when you aren't sacrificing the most important part of a mobile device to get there.

Wow. I really did not expect this. I really did think a slim, expensive device with worse battery will actually sell well.

Really ! I am surprised that the customers did not want an overpriced slim phone with a small battery.
