The Note 3 "unlocked" models are still locked to regions like DVD's and thus not very attractive to globetrotters or international purchasers who are being asked to pay £600 or so for a crippled device. There is a sticker on all boxes purchased in EU. A lot of people have returned their phones or cancelled their orders due to this.

Stupidest mistake by Samsung...first flawed design (screen breaking) of SGS 4...and now this stupidity with region lock note 3. Seems like in trying to become the next Apple, they are digging their own grave...if they don't retract on there stupid mistakes....I'm moving out of Samsung for my next phone...may be Sony Xperia ultra or LG G2...or perhaps iPhone 5S....

Boss seems you are in stone age. Smallest villages in India are having 3g and 4g emerging market in India. After 4 or 5 months 3g version note 3 will be in dustbin as it's going to be 4g market now. Samsung literally failed. India is not happy with 3g version as simple as it is.

Note 3 is already on sale via telco and retail in my part of Malaysia, Snapdragon 800 as it is the the 9005 model with LTE.

It looks way better than all previous galaxies, and its lighter than Note 2, thinner also, just a little bit taller..

I was waiting to see how it compares to the Z1, but i am probably gonna get this one as I do use the s pen function regularly.

[deleted post]India is one of the top 10 countries in the world with the slowest internet speed/connection, just saying.

You might want to watch what you say otherwise you'll make yourself look foolish.

For me it's far from an upgrade. At the end of the day it boils down to a 0.2mm upgrade for a practical use. It's a waste of money. I know it.

The last 2 paragraphs in this article is old news...and by old I mean at least 2-3 weeks old.

NegriElectronics have been selling smartphones for preorder for a while now. They did it with the note 2 and the S3 and S4. I'm Waiting for amazon to sell it because negri only accepts credit cards issued in banks in certain countries(like US, UK, CAN etc).

Amazon on the other hand does not have this problem.

But either way, I'm quite sure that the long await review will be out some time today or tomorrow at max.

So you think the Galaxy Mega is the best phablet and the Note 3 is simply not an upgrade from the Note 2?! The whole world must be laughing at you right now because this is the first time I hear something like that. Lol There's NOT A SINGLE tech site an reviewer out there that consider the Mega as the best phablet and EVERY SINGLE tech site along with every single sane person out there consider the Note 3 is every bit an upgrade as far as an upgrade could be. What do you think Samsung is, Apple? Lol

Samsung ditched Indian market with octa core processor for note 3. which is very slow compared to the likes of Sony z1 and Sony ultra. Whole Indian market is disappointed. Octa core is very laggy and I had to restart twice using Internet. Still the price is very very high. Samsung disappointed the second biggest mobile market in the world with this octa core processor for note 3. Very bad samsung

I know most people will be disappointed at the Note 3. The actual gadget to buy is the Gear. The Mega 6.3 is the best phablet out there and Note 2 users shouldn't waste time and money or see the Note 3 as an upgrade because it simply isn't.
