Then there would've been no need to use the 8 Elite. It's BECAUSE the 2500 is less efficient and slower that Samsung isnt using it.

        The most efficient GPU is Mediatek's.

        If you want to actually learn something then watch these videos from Geekerwan. The first is in English and will help you understand what efficiency means and will help you read graphs. The second is in Chinese, turn the subs on and follow along, you'll get it.

The Elite was designed for high performance that's why it has only 8 cores but they're high powered. The 2500 has 10 cores of varying power allowing far more versatility. Using a high powered core all the time is NOT efficient. The 2500 is also said to have a better NPU, which is starting to matter.

                                        jiyen235, 15 Jul 2025you dont understand what efficiency means.You obviously missed the part where the SD 8 E's 'magical efficiency' did little in a Moto 60/Ultra, resulting in it performing like an SD 8 Gen 3.

                                        It couldn't finish stress tests and loops and more than a few reviewers had it crash on the graphics tests first run and had to let it cool off to even start testing.

                                        Just look at GSMArena's review it was way WAY behind the Xiaomi 15, despite having 4GB more RAM, and single core performance is below last year's 50 Ultra that's running an 8s Gen 1 and being closer to the 40 Ultra's 8+ Gen 1 !!

                                        What's the point in a top chip, especially paying for it, if you don't get that top performance? 🤨
                                        That 's even before mentioning features that were stripped too (UWB, only USB2, no mmWave). 🧐

                                        PS, Flip is cheaper so price premium is more Moto issue.
