Senna, 20 Aug 2025Bump :) I see X7 Pro on discount with coupons here in Germ... moreI'd wait, the X7 pro is a great cheap all rounder if you don't care much about the camera or photo quality, when I was considering a phone in it's price range I had a very hard time finding a device the combines it's performance and capabilities with a decent camera setup even at much higher prices.

I see X7 Pro on discount with coupons here in Germany, ~220 Eur for 8GB/256GB version and ~240 Eur for 12GB/512GB.
I'm also not sure if I should pull the trigger or wait for X8 Pro which is around the corner. It also depends on its initial pricing of course.

People complain about burn-in, green/white lines
but it's actually a built-in secret feature from Samsung and other AMOLED manufacturers. They designed their screens not to last, so people will buy a new model every year. It's part of their shady business practices that no one notices or cares enough to investigate.

What's with the... moreThose who do not believe in burn-in change their phones often so they don't experience it. Or maybe it's stuck on tha status bar like my old phone. Totally unnoticeable unless you use Light mode or a screen checker app/white background. Videos have black bars on the side so they hide the burn as well.
And I guess this will also have usb 2.0 again and would negate the benefits of wired file transfers or display out capability.
