Exactly. However with a smaller battery there comes shorter battery life, which means it will have to be charged more often, thus creating more cycles and with that reducing battery health way faster.

They're gonna throttle even harder and perhaps use a low res screen as well. Dont forget that iPhones are extremely reliant on lower refresh rates when scrolling to save battery life.
There's numerous tricks Apple will use and tech journalists (who dont/cant stress test outside of benchmarks) will say Apple has started a revolution. Just you wait. I've been in the tech space for less than a decade and i've already started to see several recurring patterns and cycles

Dweebs here keep whining about the low capacity of this battery but what I want to know is how thick 3000mah batteries were previously. If an OEM can make a battery with similar level of slimness and keep the capacity at 5000 then that would be interesting.
Low capacity sucks but maybe it's time to start focusing on reducing physical size of batteries while retaining a decent capacity.
