The China version of Xiaomi and Vivo is better by lots of margin

Certain carrier (not in China) will send SMS pop ads
and only with the China version (at least on xiaomi and vivo) this can be stopped

The China version can also forbid apps to send SMS
So, I won't get any "surprise bill" because some SMS secretly sending SMS in the background

The China version can also forbid the apps to see which apps we install
And the China version can send "blank address book", so apps will not know who's on our address book

From my experience, even if Lenovo launched it Globally, it is still better to get the China version. I have the China Version of the 12.1" Tablet launched earlier this year (Can't remember the Global version name). It has better RAM/Storage and comes with the Keyboard and Stylus (which the Global version also supports but Lenovo DO NOT SELL them Globally).

The China version also uses a better OS. Using Google Services is as easy as activating Google Services inside the settings (I was surprised by how easy it was without the need for "jailbreaking"). Once activated, Play Store simply appears and can be used. Of course, provided you are not in China as China do not support Google Services.

DarlingYext, 07 Aug 2025That's just the Lenovo Tab S25 Edge.💀Not forgetting how FCNT phones had this design earlier, Lenovo had acquired it beforehand, and how all of those designs are from Wingtech.

The first one has good specs but will it go global? Want to buy my first powerful tablet for having fun. Oneplus Pad 3 is my current option. But a little large. As for windows already have a super powerful gaming laptop so I need an android tablet. Will Lenovo sell it in US?

I dont understand the tactics of giving 8800mAh battery with 11" tablet with 8 gen 3 and then give 10.200mAh on 12" e-waste D6400 tablet.

Never mind that i have a Lenovo tablet and for me to be interested in one of their tablet i need to be at gun point to buy one.

Lenovo Thinkpad as laptop is the best but tablets are something i avoid from that brand

Anonymous, 07 Aug 2025Why? Gamehub and Winlator are already on Android.so you don't have to emulate? gamehub isn't perfect. I tried it the other day and games with "perfect", compatibility in my steam library didn't run without heavy modification of the settings and even then they ran only in 720p barely at 20fps and still force quit after 10 or so mins. Windows on Arm would have MUCH less compatibility issues plus I could run creative apps like Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

Awesome prices for a very powerfull specs.

                                That's just the Lenovo Tab S25 Edge.💀

Why every company is publishing bigger and bigger tablets when there is only one option for about 8 inch pocketable 4G tablet in the market. Isn't it quite much easier to sell them when there is no competition.
