People have issues with Samsung foldable phones that inside screen protector will get bubbly which will eventually break the screen if not changed/removed.

If you just remove the screen protector according to samsung warranty is voided and getting replaced screen protector cost 30+euros and could take even days without your phone depending where you live.

I have had 3 foldable phones (fold 1,3 and flip 5)all Samsung but not anymore. I am done with their anti consumer tactics.

Funny how a company whose spelled its name wrong in the rest of the English speaking world is rapidly becoming successful lol

Hope samsung's next fold is worthy the price, no 10mp or 1/4'' sensor will be worth purchase. They should go 200mp with all cameras... like... isn't it next gen device, why even other brands give it mid range treatment?
Thick camera islands are no longer the problem with so thin bodies, camera performance is compared to bar phones - or maybe they aren't ready to produce a lot, thats why poor specs and overprice?
I would believe that, but with flip phones having full thickness for cameras and having worse cameras instead, it gives no sense - basically - its like money milking scheme...

Bringing higher res and pen for a smaller price is a big hit straight to heart of pen and camera centric samsung.
They just ignored a few generations of non-improvement and even removed pen feature.
Apple may change these numbers again, cutting samsung from misusing their solo play without any competitor(also due to bans).
As always, it will be users who will gain something from this healthy competition.

Should wait until Apple has released a foldable before including Apple.

Vasra, 14 Aug 2025EZ to grow from near zeroThese are devices costing 2-3,000 bucks. Last time Apple tried to sell something in that price range, with the Vision Pro, they sold 100,000 units in a year and have to give away 100,000 to influencers in a desparate attempt to get TikToks going...

imagine if Oppo and Vivo had proper sales outlets and after service care all around the world, Samsung wouldnt stand a chance.

Just take what they're doing to India and try spreading it to other countries, not all countries, just test it out in a few countries where foldables/flagships sold the most, that shouldnt be too difficult for companies of this size. Huawei did it, I think Xiaomi's doing it too.

rizki1, 14 Aug 2025Can't believe Honor has gotten that big so fast, how i... moreThey are avaible in many countries (at least here in Eastern Europe) and they do undercut Samsung in price quite a lot. Eg the Magic V5 vs Fold 7. Here in Czechia Fold 7 starts at 2000 Eur, yet the Magic V5 starts at 1735 Eur. Not to mention Samsung is on sale thanks to Honor. the regular price starts at 2400 Eur.

And how will they grow exactly? Oppo, Vivo and many other manufacturers do foldables China only... There's not enough versatility in this segment to grow sharply.

EZ to grow from near zero

Glad to see Honor eating through Samsung sales, they deserve it.

Can't believe Honor has gotten that big so fast, how is that possible? Are they available in many EU countries or Honor is having a massive flash sale.
