Mo, 16 Aug 2025Really wanna see a fully laminated display although, it see... moreWhile the airgap kind of sucks from a reflection standpoint, it does make it easier and cheaper to repair the device if it gets damaged. Given the base iPads in particular often end up in education environments due to the price point this is a relevant feature as a case won't stop all damage.

Thank goodness I hold off this year... moreWell, iPad 11th has essentially the same rejected processor as the iPhone 14/14 Plus, given the similar performance between nerfed A16 Bionic in iPad and A15 Bionic with 5-core GPU. 14/14 Plus eventually use the A15 Bionic 5-core, just to gatekeep LPDDR5 technology to the 14 Pro models. A16 Bionic, nerfed or not, strictly features 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

Instead, it's toned-down (5-core CPU and 4-core GPU) to deliver similar performance to A15 Bionic 5-core found in iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max and 14/14 Plus.

., 15 Aug 2025Should i wait for it or just buy a tab s10FE?If you're platform agnostic and could settle with Apple's lovked-in ecosystem, then I'd say you'll wait. A18 is no slouch, and the updated iPadOS 26 will give you more productivity boost than the midrange chipset on the FE.

What's the use of portable form factor if it can't be used outdoors?

Remember Apple's excuse back then for not allowing stage manager on anything below the M1 iPads? Yeah, they lied.
But with the free windowing, stage manager is almost pointless imo.
