HTC is already doom, the Android market is just over saturated, too many phones with the same OS and now with those chinese phones luring, HTC has no chance but to change strategy like giving WP a chance, or even Ubuntu, Firefox or jolla.

Dual OS devices will propably not gain WP many users.
It would increase the market share, but not the user base.

WP has some limitations, most of which you can live with, in a device, but if you at the same time get Android in the same device, without those limitations, you will probably end upp using Android.

Why all the hate.....*fandroid..... *isheep. I like Android the most but I can only welcome this. Unlike iOS, I see a lot of potential in WP and I want to test it out. I just don't want to buy one. If I can just a a small fee to install WP on any Android phone or at least some of the more well known ones, I will. WP is a great OS that is lacking in apps. Maybe this will give it the boost that it needs.

So in the analysis report, they would say WP share is as high as Android so IOS has dropped to 3rd lol

... I have the opportunity to use WP and Andorid on a daily basis. Each of these two systems is good for a particular application. While WP is better for business users where is essential office suite and reliable voice navigation (Nokia Lumia), Android provides users with more apps and better support for "small" languages.
In any case, it's fair to give users the ability to choose which operating system to use on your own phone. If it's no extra cost we can only welcome this agreement ...

                          Desperation epitomised.
I saw a horrifically cringeworthy tv ad by MS yesterday bashing Google & Gmail, followed by another bashing the ipad.
Remember the tv ad campaign by Apple bashing pc guy & irony of the backlash they had. I've never heard or seen Google put down any of their competition. Those who lower themselves to such tactics scream desperation & should be concentrating on more productive endeavors like improving their services.i think people have just had enough of MS' s b.s. I hope HTC don't accept this Trojan horse as it could lead to the same demise as Nokia :S

No no no. HTC like Nokia you have you fans. Don't go down the double route. Conceptually, interesting idea but honestly why bother. I just bought my second One S. Loving it. Slim sexy. A classic. You should do another updated version, no blink, similar body, same real-estate with a bigger screen like Moto-x has made yet on a smaller device and slightly later chip. win win. Its already good. Also androing in a HTX 8x body. hmmm.
