Less of a convenience device and more of a data harvesting tool. I loved Googles fire alarm with giant microphones in it - to test the alarm they said after the initially denied they were there. Google has earned my trust. lol lol

    There is a question about whether you should really buy Google products because of their actual performance versus the marketing and the removal of features over time.

      Ok, ok. What about all of us who invested in all their previous Google Assistant smart speakers ecosystem? When are we getting Gemini on those, as I see my speakers are getting dumber and dumber, with more features removed each day?

            are they gonna kill it out of the blue just as they did with the previous gens of nest and home speakers. lol... can't be trusted anymore.

              So if I'm not using google assistant or gemini this speaker is useless? My portable jbl speaker is enough then.
