My younger brother just bought a Blu Life Play some months ago, and so far so good. It's definitely not on par with the quality of branded phones (these are re-branded generic Chinese phones), but they perform well enough on not so power intensive tasks, like 90+% everybody does on a smartphone (calling, texting, browsing, streaming, downloads, watching movies, reading). They're only hold back by the tiny 4 Gb storage, but when you see the cost they're really worth it. You could only do better by buying a Nexus within the US, if you've got the money to pay for it.

178 ppi??? are they mad? it's cheap like hell but 4.6-4.8 inch screens are fine i think....
