It's not great news.

Really disappointed, Samsung is turning into Apple, launch the same product and call it "best ever yet"

Yeah, I'm out. Next Stop Vivo X300 😎

Samsung's sleeping for at least 5 years now. Maybe wait for either the Vivo X300 Pro or the X300 Ultra is much better than keeping the S25 Ultra.

I pray these rumours are false and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is a big upgrade.
At least a 6000mAh Silicon Carbon mega battery, and PWM frequency must be a big upgrade.
Absolutely over 2000 hertz at least.
          Just do it Samsung.
Everything else can be the same I do not really care.
          It is already good.
But these big upgrades I would love.

S23 Ultra owner who did upgrade every year. Apart from a flat screen, there is nothing that really appeals in the S24, S25 or now the S26.

In order to decrease the phone's thickness to ridiculous levels, they're keeping the battery size to a minimum. This is stupid. A 5500mAh battery with 65w charging is a must nowadays. Alongwith a change in all the sensors. 200MP Sony 1/1.1" 25mm with OIS for primary, 50MP Samsung 1/1.31" with 75mm with IBIS for 3x, Samsung 50MP 1/1.56" 10mm for UW, 50MP Samsung JN5 1/2.75" 250mm with 5 axis GIMBAL for 10x. JN5 for the front as well.

Samsung got to go big on battery now. 7000 Mah is the order of the day. What's the push for S24 and s25 holders to upgrade... I reckon none.

In the meantime, Oppo is releasing the Find X9 with 7000 mah... Ppppffff. Samsung's prime is over.

If you haven't seen the old news, Samsung was still testing the Si/Co battery and it haven't finish until the Samsung S27 or A74 or M60 (probably unsure)

And most iphones are feels like rebranded, same design and totally same processor just different power

And what about Samsung M and F Series? they have much bigger battery than those silly S Series and A Series rn is it still allowed for airports?

JemalIb, 29 Aug 2025How to improve battery life? Like recharge from Sun light ... moreThat would only work if they manage to somehow pack a solar panel that can be fit under the entire display and receive light through entire display as well. Otherwise it would be pointless. And even then, it's questionable how much you'd realistically gain from the solar panel.

                            I'm sitting here laughing with my 8000 mAh iQoo Z10 Turbo+ 😂

                              Well Well Well.
I am not going to buy Samsung anyway.
                              Nah.
PWM frequency is bad also and they won't really upgrade anything majorly.
OnePlus 15 I'm looking forward to it.
                              Hmmm.
I pray they sell a 1TB version to Europe / globally.
Alsoooo upgrade their update policy to five years at least.
In my opinion that is a sweet spot.
Also six years usage, next year plus five years Android would be my thing.
                              Then a new phone again.
Up to date with Android versions always.

                                How to improve battery life?
Like recharge from Sun light while move on.
