15000 mAh is just a little too much capacity in a phone. 10k is the sweet spot. Maybe thinner and lighter phone with a big camera island 10k mAh.

Many things that were impossible in the past have turned out into reality now. Although this is still 'concept' but the showcases itself has proven it is already something 'real'. The show I watched on youtube clearly show the final product. But it is interesting to know that this is not going to be released according to GSM Arena. I like this concept model but honestly worry on safety factor especially against possible explosion.

How 😢 sad when both of them are just 'Concept devices'... But i bet it's still possible to really introduce them to the market when both of them totally passed 'safety standards' in their batteries because too much silicon means it's possible for this battery to inflate ~300-400% larger than just lithium alone as you charge it from time to time.

Chameleon, 28 Aug 2025Samsung probably doesn't want to ruin its reputation w... moreThey had a bad experience not with the technology of the battery but because of their own moronic intuition. Their note 9 exploding shs nothing to do with the battery technology. They just didn't make the housing big enough/didn't account for the battery growing and that resulted in explosions.

[deleted post]Samsung probably doesn't want to ruin its reputation with a new technology which has not proved to be efficient, durable and safe in the long time. They already had bad experience in the past. But I admit 5000 mah should be the minimum for every phone today.

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 28 Aug 2025I won't force myself to use 60Hz or reduce my usage, t... morei said turn OFF the 60 hz lock, not turn it on. That means you use the battery saver mode which uses less power on EVERYTHING but you still get 120 hz
if you learned about the phone before nagging then maybe you'd have been able to solve problems but nope you're just out here to complain. Wonder if you actually got it yourself or are just larping.

jiyen235, 28 Aug 2025"your" x200 ultra? lol
and i must say the x20... moreI won't force myself to use 60Hz or reduce my usage, this would also give me better battery life out of any smartphone.
I just expected better battery life for a 6000mAh phone, coming off my 4000mAh base S25 :
- I had to charge my S25 daily, twice on heavy days.
- Now I also have to charge my X200U daily, twice on heavy days.
6000mAh is not revolutionary, but with better software and hardware optimization it would be, or at least closer to it.
For now, big battery capacity are just a waste.

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 28 Aug 2025My X200U only lasts me a day or even less on normal/heavy u... more"your" x200 ultra? lol
and i must say the x200 ultra i use is more heavily used than my dad's s25 ultra and no one really complains about that phone. So yeah idk what you're on about but if you want "optimisation", just turn the battery saver mode on and turn off the 60 hz lock. That'll make it similar to an S25 Ultra.

Sure you won't have battery anxiety if you only use your 800€+ smartphone just as a glorified clock. With a more realistic usage, the unoptimized 6000mAh is nothing impressive, still daily charge needed. Just like my base S25.
Maybe 15000mAh will finally help, I hope it gets used effectively. Yet, I have to see Realme release their 10000mAh phone (https://m.gsmarena.com/realme_to_introduce_phone_with_larger_than_10000_mah_battery_on_august_27-news-69144.php).

Claudespeed, 27 Aug 2025If we just rely on battery capacity, google programmers will... moreIt's because Apple devices have larger constraints, for instance, half-duplex storage, app termination upon exit, traditional Li-Ion batteries and a closed source OS. Android devices mostly don't suffer from the above constraints, and your example makes sense for devices that most users can't have control over, such as Samsung, BBK, Transsion, Xiaomi and Motorola with their UI and bloatware.
