info completely wrong....its already announced in india by nokia that it will retail at Rs.21000 approx $420 dollars...so surely it will be cheap abroad...!!!

14900NTD(approx.450USD)it's going to sell on Dec.6 in Taiwan.
US is going to sell on early of 2009, but 900USD? that's unbelievable!

if you go to site of Nokia in Spain, the price is 429€, isn´t 279€ but is better than 900€

there is still a great difference between 279 and 700 euros. Nokia said this would be a mid-range phone. this is no mid-range phone price(700e). but its a nice phone.

from 279 to 700 is a looooong loooong way and there are out there at 450€ very very good deals - this is the new Nokia Marketing policy? Maybe this is why they have touched 40% of the market insted of 60% how it was 3 years ago ---- bye bye Nokia!

They are thieves who want to take that much maney from costumers. i will not pay price ower 350.euro newer! for that price i can bay my self best pda, laptop, a device that i can have all the multimedia glory on it! i sugest you guys not to pay any thieve company that price, and tell ewerybady the reall its price, and wait not to bay, because we nokia comunity have wait allmost one year now, and lets wait a bit more.

It is expected that Nokia would dig deeper into your pockets. perhaps the only time that you can expect this phone to drop it's price is when the Nseries touch nears it's launching

i have tried this phone before. honestly i like the design and functions. but 1 thing which makes me feel it is not worth to buy it because the touchscreen isn't sensitive. unlike the rest of the touchscreen phones. u have to hold about 1 second in order to click a button. it is reli bad.
