Tell me how to find App Picks, Theme Store, and Hey Tap Cloud/Browser, I don't have any of them. I can't find them either.
I don't have a single ad in the global search, it only shows me apps that I have installed on the phone. And I don't have a single ad in the Game Bar either...
It's even funnier to me that you give as an example of bloatware pre-installed apps like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Netflix and others, which 99.9 percent of smartphone users use and will install if they are not installed.
I'm in shock and panic. Most likely I bought a fake, not an original 1+... Something is not right.
It's strange why my Samsung Smart TV came with pre-installed YouTube, Netflix, etc. Maybe to make it easier for me, but what do I know...
On the other hand, I hope Samsung starts pre-installing GCam, otherwise their native photo app is a living bloatware, since people don't use it if they want to take almost good photos (after all, the hardware is a few years old, we can't expect much from it in general) with their phone.
Are you sure you're talking about Oxygen 16 for 1+ phones? I don't bother searching the internet, because I'm not interested, since I don't have anything you mentioned on my 1+ 13. Well, except for YouTube, Facebook and Netflix, which I use daily. Are you, as always, posting some link without knowing what you're talking about? For example, several times I caught you posting a link to justify the mediocre SoT of the garbage 25 Edge, saying that the tests are only on 5G, but they turn out to be either on 4G or WiFi, and only some of the tests are on 5G.

'Toggleable' ads are still ads.
And about the bloat: the OnePlus forums are exploding over OOS 16 call-out actions. You are stuck with undeletable junk like App Picks, Theme Store, and Hey Tap Cloud/Browser.
That’s on top of forced cheap preinstalls like Facebook, Netflix, Instagram or the classic garbage games like ‘World Connect’ or ‘Bubble Pop’.
It’s only a matter of time before you get the full ColorOS treatment: "Hot Games" folders with ads that reinstall themselves after every reboot.
Oppo buying OnePlus didn't bring "beauty", it brought the Chinese trash.

And since they also don't have vision of what their products are, all they can do is be a reactive copy cats without any understanding of the essence of what they're copying. Literally all of them have zero identity of their own. In the beginning, most of them don't even have an app drawer, a supposedly standard fare of Android, because their goal was simply to copy iOS. Dynamic island, liquid glass, all were copied. So in the eye of consumers, they remain to be the knock off of Apple, nothing more

For a long time tabket user, going to a foldabke is a wild downgrade. They need to make them close enough. I guess the phone experience is close enough, the tablet experience is just bad, very bad.

Square is the wrong aspect ratio for a tablet, I don't even consider them one.
They can make them be proper tablets (4:3 or higher) but they refuse to and that kills the proposition.
My games look horrible on it, they are not an upgrade for my youtube/movie viewing session, bad for social media scrolling they are better at browsing the web indeed but at the cost of a much larger device on the hand (which would have been preferable if it was not for all the rest of the downsides).
The technology is not yet ready. They need to change their minds about the 1:1 inner aspect ratio. No content is made on that, and they have to align themselves to the actual content people want to consume.

Why do you think we no longer see standalone digital cameras, PDAs, MP3 players, camcorders, etc? Because they all have been consolidated into the smartphone.
Foldables in theory would continue the consolidation of tablets and laptops into the smartphone. The tech is here. The only bottle neck is the software, aka Android/Google.

Currently using samsung s24 plus. Very good phone. No need to upgrade. But some changes will be great. Like s27 plus with 1tb storage and 16gb ram. At least 5500mah battery and 65w charging. 144hz screen.

Honestly, I thank God every day that Chinese OSes are a combination of the beauty of iOS and the functionality of Android instead of copying Samsung's BloatwareUI + the functionality of iOS.

Have you tried any Oppo, Honor, Xiaomi or Vivo phone? Their software is like an early alpha version of iOS, with adds. Everyone and their dog knows Chinese manufacturers copy iOS, but do a poor job of it.
And then there's Xiaomi, who not only matches the product version to catch up with Apple, but copies the naming scheme (Xiaomi 17 Pro Max) and even the bloody design (camera island). It's not just pathetic, it's downright disgusting.

He said that most electronic product now were designed and made in China

Even toyota have an EV design team that 100% Chinese in China to catch up the EV trend
