Anonymous, 04 Sep 2025If Samsung still follows their scummy pattern on past produ... moreUFS 3.1 is not bad at all. Most people won't be able to tell whether it is 3.1 or 4.0 without being told the specs or without running benchmarks, so I don't think it is worth fretting about.
And I don't mind a cheaper 128GB option being offered when there are higher storage options also being offered. The customer is free to choose the storage variant they need.

All they had to do was give exynos 2500 and bump up the ram to 12gb. And boom, it would have been a bangur💯

This is s24 plus without LTPO - in rest of the world s24 plus is using the exynos 2400, unlike US which uses snapdragon.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2025If Samsung still follows their scummy pattern on past produ... moreWhile I am not always a fan of Samsung business practice, the 128 using UFS 3.1 is an industry wide issue because there is currently no one making 128GB UFS 4 chips.

RaviSS, 04 Sep 2025Appears so.
And agree with your remarks. It is a well-b... moreIf Samsung still follows their scummy pattern on past products, that 128gb storage is probably UFS 3.1 only while the 256gb is UFS 4.
And how could they flaunt years worth of updates on a 128gb device?

I could have forgiven the price if it came with Exynos 2500
But putting Exynos 2400 inside this phone is cardinal sin

Too bad the RAM still stuck at 8GB, even for the 256/512 GB versions.

potato4k, 04 Sep 2025Is this the first Samsung phone with SiC battery? Why isn’t... moreAppears so.
And agree with your remarks. It is a well-balanced upper mid-range device. The only sore point I see is the RAM amount; 12GB would have been more suitable for the price range and would have made the device more future proof.

1- They switched to ultrasonic fingerprint reader (from optical)
2- They switched to physical proximity sensor (from the virtual software one)

what are they thinking? half of their devices use their own components, but why not like the manufacturers who use their components?

Yeah no sh!t. With the absurd pricing and just 8 GB RAM, it is better to go for OnePlus 13, heck, even OnePlus 13R would be better. And guess what, S25+ would be the best option if you wanna stick to Samsung!
