You could make the pro's vertical camera island horizontal for edge, no? It'd be close to pixel, yeah, but isn't that better looking than that huge rectangle?

These camera islands are getting ridiculous. S23 Ultra is bearable with the camera circles, but having camera circles on top of further elevated island is just dumb. All the dust gathering around it, insane rocking on table, getting stuck when sliding into pocket. Just why!? Just make it thicker to get rid of the camera island and stuff in a bigger battery. But now that everyone is obsessed with faux thin phones with monstrous camera islands I don't even know where this industry is heading. I really don't want to buy RedMagic coz their phone is flat and has hidden UD selfie cam but their software support is just so bad...

I doubt apple, google, samsung and others have a private group that they discuss designs and stupid removal of features they they collectively agree on.

Don't really care much about the looks, I'm going to use a protective case on top anyway.
I just hope they finally catch-up with the competition on the camera front.

S25 was a rebranded s22. It was already too late for some hw upgrade. S22 was on par with iphone pro but, s25 is only competitive against vanilla iphone. Hope they spend some time in r&d this time

The camera bump hight seems similar to the one on the fold which is even bigger than the iphone's, shame!
