I bought in the end of July a Motorola Edge 50 Neo new, the version with 12 GB Ram and 512 GB of memory for 162€
I think it's a great phone, the battery life it's very good and I use the 80% battery limit.
I think was a great deal.

5000mag on a 300-400€ device and people are celebrating because they paired it with a power efficient but weak chip to cut costs. What is this place?

Motorola finally managed to make a decent sucessor, at least on paper.
A tad smaller device with preserved both screen-to-body ratio and same display usable area, stronger glass protection, additional IP rating, bigger battery and ditched the 128GB variant.
It might surpass Neo 50 battery test, but I'll wait for a full review.

They've taken the successful formula of the 50 Neo and made it better. The 50 Neo has a small battery, but the battery life is sensational, largely due to the D7300. The D7400 may not be quite as efficient, but the massive increase in battery should take care of that. It also gets 5 years of updates. If you don't value cameras or speakers, and you like a compact phone with stock android and fast charging, this phone is a winner.

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2025Edge 50 Neo was a small phone, it already had incredible ba... moreBuddy, edge 50 neo can't come anywhere close to a S24/25. I was waiting for the 60 neo, but ended up buying the 50 neo. The phone is compact. Battery does last a day with average use. Cameras, UI, Media wise moto have a lot more to learn from samsung. The speakers are not as good as even my older F23. This said, edge neo 50 Is still a decent buy at the price that it is available now.
For the 60 neo, hopefully they should have fixed the random camera and UI lags.

Hello, 05 Sep 2025Hey people!
The edge 60 neo will most probably be sold i... moreIMO, if you plan to use the phone for 2-3 years, then getting Edge 50 Neo and saving some money makes sense.
But if you plan to keep it for 4-5 years, the additional battery size becomes crucial, as even after battery is degraded to 80% capacity in 3-4 years time, it will still have respectable battery life.

A pretty well-round package has become even better! The additional battery has been accommodated without a change in dimensions and a small increase in weight. Updated processor and display protection, although only minor, are still updates in aspects which were a bit underwhelming, so every little bit counts.
For those who don't need a very powerful processor, this phone is simply perfect!
