If not then many test show that more ram on Android is smoother than the lower amount on iphone, if its so great why have they not added multitasking?

I have used a Samsung tablet to replace my laptop, a Xiaomi tablet, and now testing iPadOS26.
Let's do the most basic task, windowing. Let's say I want to have multiple windows on the desktop. How do you do that? On Dex, you have to switch to Dex mode first. Although it's the most flexible one in Android world, the system is limited as even some settings cannot be modified unless you exit Dex mode.
In Xiaomi, you have to enter workstation mode first, and then it's a limited floating windows, no overlap, and no free form windowing. It's more limited compared to Dex.
In iPadOS26, if I want to make the current app windowed, I just slide the bottom right, and bam, free windowing with free sizing. I can do this with any app. No need to enter specific mode. Every functions and settings are still available. This alone is a game changer. Add on how most apps are optimized already for the iPad. The content auto resizes. And this works even on old iPads, as old as the iPad mini 5.
Of course, if you only use a tablet to watch Netflix or YouTube, you wouldn't find this exciting. But as a productivity enthusiast, iPadOS26 has morphed the iPad into a new beast.

potato4k, 09 Sep 2025Have you even used iPadOS26 and Android tablets? Yeah both. iPadOS offers nothing new much other than a design overhaul. Android is on a whole other level in terms of multitasking. Use a Samsung tablet then you'll understand how much inferior ipados are compared to it. Even I used HarmonyOS which feels way better.

In the West no one touches Chinese phones, in fact most aren’t even sold here. It’s Samsung or Apple 99% of the time and most will be buying a phone costing at least near or above $1000.

Whats the point of those "edge" and "air" thin phones like... You get only 1-2 cameras that really are missing essential sensors like ultrawide, a bad battery all at the cost of one thing "thinness".

Not just in india but in any country. U less those two countries are directly at war like second world war type. Some strong android fans hate apple and vice versa. And that too not all of them from these two ecosystems.
As for most visitors to this site, maybe a few years ago when comments were a lot more on this site what you said maybe correct that most commenters could be from india and some other asian countries, but I am not sure now.

I think people of other countries are like this too.
I think some strong android fans and some strong apple fans hate each other but what OS you like doesn't depend on nationality.
And I think only this site owners not you know from which countries or continents most of this site traffic comes from.
