I made a blunder I decided to go with pixel. It feels like using Samsung a55 with some AI added. There is no reason to buy this phone for the price you can get a lot of alternatives.

Was thinking I'd upgrade this year to 10, but quite frankly, there is nothing new here that warrants me to upgrade, like the last 2 years.
As a average casual user, I have zero interest in any Ai stuff or fake photography tricks.
And the device does everything smoothly and fast enough after 3 years old.

Google will limit sideloading on Android by the end of 2026. I already see thousands of Android users switching to iOS... because what's the point of being on Android for the only thing that made it different lol

Is normal that Google put their own apps on Android phones. But I don't understand why other companies need to do the same and double up the Google apps.
In iPhones is more simple on this regard. Except Find my iPhone, iMessage, FaceTime, Photos and App Store, you can uninstall any preinstalled app, including Safari. You can basically use iPhone with Google apps if you want (Chrome, Google Calendar, YouTube, etc.). And you can put your Google account into your iPhone alongside your Apple ID.
Is funny actually, that I found my past iPhones more easy to clean preinstalled apps, than my past Samsung or Xiaomi phones. Even though Android should let me take full control of this process and uninstall any preinstalled app from my phone (that isn't a system app). I mean without rooting my phone or anything.

Would a 9 pro XL be better value since it's €300 cheaper then the 10 pro XL in my country. Camera is the important one for me and they have the same cameras so....

Poor CPU an... morePixel phones have never been targeted as gaming phones. So, I don't understand why people want them to be gaming phones.
The prices though look too high. In Netherlands the Pixel 10 Pro XL cost 1300EUR (base price), while a Galaxy S25 Ultra is now 1000EUR (base price).
With 1400EUR you can actually get a Galaxy Fold 7 in here. And you can have a foldable phone in the same price range as the Pixel 10 Pro XL.
Still, the software benefits can make some people consider a Pixel phone. Samsung/Xiaomi phones have lot of doubled apps. I mean, I would rather have Android phone with Google apps, than Android phone with Google apps and similar Samsung/Xiaomi apps. On this regard, Motorola, Nothing or even Realme/OnePlus phones look more appealing. Is always tricky to buy an Android phone, you never know if you make the good choice, with so many options, lol.
Sometimes I miss the simplicity of iPhones. You get one phone from one company each year. You don't need to look at alternatives, because there are none. If you don't like the iPhone from this year, you wait next year. Is a peaceful life, lol.
