QUAKE III Arena now runs on your Symbian S60 smartphone

28 Nov, 2008
It`s now possible to run the QUAKE III Arena on your Nokia smartphone. And that`s not all - you can also use a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse for playing. The only condition is to have a S60 3rd Edition smartphone...

Multiprocessor setups have existed long before Multicore yet you still claimed that it was like a Pentium D, though I'm sure a great programmer like you has his reasons.

That the Pentium D was not a true dual-core p... moreWhat is basically 2 processors on a single die still isn't the same as two processors NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU BACKPEDAL. 2 Processors still use more power and don't have to share the FSB, no difference at all then?

I thought I had preordered an N85? But because I point out that the inaccuracies you've posted that makes me an Apple fan? I guess you meet a lot of Apple fans ;)

Explain what? That the Pentium D was not a true dual-core processor and it was basically 2 NetBurst based Pentium 4s DIEs slapped together ? That real dual-core processors (2 COREs on the same die) started from the Core2Duo family, Allendale-Conroe-Wofldale, same with Core 2 Quad? You`re hillarious kid, trying to explaing to a programmer about I.T. .Really funny. But i understand you perfectly, you`re a apple fan, that explains a lot of things :))).

Soulstorm, 29 Nov 2008Who said it works at 660Mhz ? Where did i say that? In what... moreIt's not the same idea as the early Pentium D architecture as THERE IS NO MULTICORE PROCESSOR. IT HAS 2 CPUs. THAT'S DIFFERENT.
Maybe you should have read all of my comment - you post stupid things like that (want me to make a list?) and then wonder why I explained basic multicore processing? It's a common mistake among people who think they know more that they do about processor technology.
                      ;)

Who said it works at 660Mhz ? Where did i say that? In what comment? It`s the same ideea as the early Pentium D arhitecture. And an application optimized for this can split it`s workload on the 2 processors, it doesn`t mean that an app is limited to one of the 2.

Also having 2 330mhz processors DOESN'T mean it can Process @ 660mhz - it means it can process 2 things at 330mhz. There's a big difference, but since you're knowledgeable about these things it's a wonder I had to correct you ;)

624Mhz processor, have you ever heard of dual-core processors?. Yeah, N95 has a dual-core processor, noob. Do you know what a graphics acceleration unit is? Google it and see, it`s something used in computers for games, for years. The processor only does the pshycs calculations (and a couple of other calculations) and transfers data to the gpu, which takes care of the graphics.
As i said, poor Iphone fans, you probably don`t even know what a processor is.

Anyway, has anybody tried to play this on the E90i?
