I never understood the concept of "Slim" phones. What % of the world market wants a less camera-centric phone with less battery life, but is willing to pay more for a slim design? 😥

My only beef with the 5G version is the SoC. Really wish it had at least Dimensity 7300. Can't help it for 4G version as G99 (and it's iterations G100 and 200) is basically the last and most "recent" 4G SoC, but A76 cores is just old and tired in 2025.

this, 09 Sep 2025Reusing curved panels? Who on earth likes them anyway?I like such screens but it's true that if implemented incorrectly it's unpractical in use. Too curved, inadequate software to avoid miss touch or not enough frame to comfortably hold the phone and it becomes a nightmare.

Not a bad looking phone but again no originality what so ever. And that slim thing is a phase that will disappear as soon as it came or at least when users will have been confronted with the downside of such form factor. Downsides like poor battery performance, skipped components due to a lack of space, sturdiness that remains to be seen...

[deleted post]Have you even tried HIOS 15. People should just stop throwing dumb takes on here without having experienced the smartphone. Pretty sure Scamsung can't compare in terms of smoothness at the same price

It feels like I am 10 to 11 years back in time, back then companies tried the whole thin phone shtick.
I hope people don't fall for this again, 10+ years ago regular phones wete thicker than even some budget phones are now, thin phones like this don't make any sense and don't add anything.
Unless foldables but that's due to the whole folding design.
