                      My opinion is this, the 17 pro has a lot of potential, and has finally reached the level where I can say that it's just as good as the best Android phones of the world and that's a thing Apple rarely achieves, but, that doesn't mean i don't have any complaints, I have a lot,but that's a post for a different time. If I were to give this a score, it would be 9/10 phone if we put design to the side

Do you have a notch of the same proportionate size on an iMac? On an iPad? I have used Apple gear for 20 years now and have not EVER used anything in the notch. So if I want to make a self-portrait I use my notchless, go-to, Android phone. Same for gaming and for videos etc. The iPhone's notch cripples its viability as a browser And I wait till I get home to see my photos on my iMac because the notch simply ruins them onscreen on the phone.

I don't like a punch-hole selfie camera, but realistically, it won't be removed because the picture quality of under-display selfie cameras is poor.

                                  And another thing: there is STILL, the NOTCH. Take a picture and then try to display it on your iphone's screen and the notch completely ruins the top part of the picture! All you can do is pinch the image reducing its size (which it does at both ends) until it is so small that it sits below the notch. Now, ladies & gentlemen of the jury, what is the point of all that screen area when you needs must do that every time just to look at the pictures and the videos you make with an iPhone. With a notch onscreen you have a 4 inch screen, not a 6 inch screen in reality, and you have to do the same to watch a video online, or Netflix or Apple Tv, or the news, anything in fact.Unless like a hole in the head in every selfie of you, you actually want the Notch present in everything that you look at, you better use your iPad!

                                      Interested to wait for a full test of their claims in practice, but aghast at the awful orange etc colours and the decision to retain the three camera grouping like an apple logo rather than spread the cameras across the camera mount like the pixel does, because of better cooling, much better shared viewpoints for video etc and having the basic common sense to actually use the mounts space as obviously it should be used.
                                      Its like refusing to use enough RAM (its only really useful improvement), keeping the lightning port catastrophe going, and using tiny sensors instead of 1" ones for ALL lenses ...
                                      As someone who only uses the cameras on a 16 Pro for Sweep Panoramas because nobody else does it better, the ultrawide lens vignettes in the corners causing massive noise problems even at the lowest isos because Apple refuse to use the same sensor that the main wide cam has.
                                      a 1/2.55" sensor is MUCH smaller, to give you a clue, than was the 1/1.83" 12MP sensor in the Nokia N8 from 2010! and is an extremely cheap solution very well implemented, mind you, by the excellent software for ultrawide panoramas created by Apple, which unfortunately cannot get rid of the nasty multicolored noise in shadow areas, because in addition Apple refuse to replace the f2.2 ultrawide lens that is the root cause of the problem.
