What a pathetic release. Going on about a 120 hz screen as if apple joining the rest of the pack is an achievement. Or the field of view automatically adjusting for selfies. My 3 year old Honor does that.

The upgrades this year are big and I like the pro model. The slim one is interesting too, but I don't prefer e-sim
Might buy the vanilla or the pro. Also worth noting that they changed the base storage on the base model to 256 finally

Weird terms used by apple to describe features aside, Samsung and Google Pixel's division should really be concerned this time. Apple just updated all that was lagging behind western android phone manufaturers at once, in my eyes this is the most important upgrade by iPhone Pro models in a single year:
-better secondary cameras to an already competent main camera (still not on the level of Vivo and Oppo but a great improvement nevertheless)
-faster charging
-better thermals
-better display with 120hz
-finally a decent battery on an iPhone
-actually useful base storage model
-not focusing the whole presentation on AI useless features
-not compromising features over desing
Somer people may be complaining about desing choices but I think they're missing the point. they still offer the air model if you want to trade specs for a sleeker design.

Also aluminium 7k series is good enough to not bend easily. I have two phones with that frame and they didn't bend

Apple is preparing the back tri camera/rectangle bump (setting the ground work) for a secondary mini screen in future generation of iPhones....which will be a copy of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra of 2021 and possibly the next Mi Ultra 16(?) phone. But of course, when Apple does copy Xiaomi's design in the future, they will call theirs "revolutionary," and the iSheep will think it was Apple's glorious design.

And they got rid of titanium because of needing more of it for the back as well and it's expensive and difficult. Cheapskates.
Also, the design looks like a prototype phone. Pretty sure Jobs wouldn't have allowed this monstrosity out. A much more elegant approach can be seen on Huawei's Mate 60 when mixing both metal and glass on the back.

I thou... moreAluminum is the best (weight, heat conductivity, cost, and it can also be polished to look great see Galaxy S23) and they should have used it for the Air as well to make it lighter, 165g is good for a 2025 phone but far from impressive compared to phones 10 years ago.

If you charge during the day it doesn’t make sense to charge beyond 80% anyway, just wears out the battery faster.

So according the Apple's own web-store, their base model 17 Pro will start at a tarrific $1530 USD (converted on this day of our lord) for the Indian market :D
